Simona Eisinger is an Austrian soprano with Slovak roots. She studied voice and obtained a master’s degree at “Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität” (MUK). Since her debut in 2007 she has given guest performances at opera houses and theatres, such as Volksoper Wien, Theater an der Wien, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich, Landestheater Linz, Neue Oper Wien, Theater in der Josefstadt, Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Theater Luzern, as well as at festivals, such as OsterKlang, Opernfestspiele St. Margarethen, jOpera Schloss Tabor, Oper Klosterneuburg, Herbsttage Blindenmarkt and Sommerfestival Schloss Kittsee.
At the beginning her repertoire comprised soubrette roles, such as Ännchen (Der Freischütz), Frasquita (Carmen), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), Silberklang (Der Schauspieldirektor), Olympia ( Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Bronislawa (Der Bettelstudent) and Franzi (Ein Walzertraum).
Now she feels comfortable with lyric soprano roles, such as Pamina and 1.Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Ninetta (Rossini: Diebische Elster), as well as Diva roles in the operettas like Sylva Varescu (Kalman: Die Csardasfürstin) and Hansi (Stolz: Die Frühjahrsparade).
She is also interested in the 20.century opera music and has sung roles such as Maria (Krenek: Kehraus um St. Stephan), Hari (Fujikura: Solaris), Lucy (Menotti: The Telephone), 1.Dame (Henze: Prinz von Homburg).
Simona Eisinger is also a devoted concert and oratorio soloist. She has performed concerts and recitals in major concert halls, such as the famous Golden Hall in Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, MuTh, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Philharmonie Gasteig in Munich, Konserthuset in Stockholm and Göteborg, DR Koncerthuset in Kopenhagen, Musiikkitalo in Helsinki, Santory Hall and Opera City Hall in Tokyo among others together with well-known orchestras, such as, NÖ Tonkünstler, Beethoven Philharmonie, Wiener Johann Strauss Orchester, Schönbrunn Palace Orchestera, Strauss Capelle Wien and with Ensembles with members of the Vienna Philharmonics.
She was invited to sing Lied recitals by the Richard Strauss Society in Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Germany, the Franz Liszt Society in Vienna, at the Gustav Mahler Festival in Jihlava/CZ and at
the Leos Janacek Festival in Ostrava/CZ.
Since 2018 Simona Eisinger has had an exclusive collaboration with the Austrian composer Guntolf
Palten (1927*) and has recorded his Lied compositions for the label Preiser Records for the very 1st time worldwide (6 CDs).
The soprano worked already with internationally known artists, such as Brigitte Fassbaender, Edita Gruberova, Angelika Kirchschlager, Althea-Maria Papoulia, Emmy Werner, Christof Loy, Bobby Herzl and sang with wonderful singer-collegues such as Christian Gerhaher, Paolo Rumez, Rainer Trost, Paul-Armin Edelmann, Alexander Kaimbacher, Michael Spyres, Lars Woldt, with actors such as Herbert Föttinger, Julia Cencig and conductors such as Marc Albrecht, Johannes Wildner, Guido Mancusi,Thomas Rösner, Christoph Campestrini, Alfred Eschwé and Walter Kobéra.
